Your privacy is very important to Implantica. We also understand that privacy is very important to you. This U.S. privacy policy (“Policy”) describes how Implantica Inc. (“Implantica,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses “personal information” about you (as that term is defined by applicable law). In the event of a conflict between Implantica’s Consumer Health Privacy Policy and this Policy, this Policy will control with respect to the processing of personal information.

By using the term “Personal Data” in our Privacy Statement, we refer to information that you individually provide to Implantica either directly or indirectly that on its own or in combination with other information, can be used to identify you or make you identifiable. Personal Data includes for example your name, your mailing address, your telephone number, your e-mail-address or other information that identifies you or makes you identifiable.

Information without any connection to you as an individual does not qualify as Personal Data.

We collect information in connection with certain of our products and services, such as when you visit our website (“Site”) or engage with our testing services (collectively, the “Services”). The categories of information that we may collect about you include the following:

  • Service providers and business partners: We engage service providers and business partners to assist us with operating our businesses and providing you with our Services.   • Implantica companies: We may disclose your personal information to other Implantica entities for marketing purposes, security, compliance, optimization of products and services, and internal reporting. Unless otherwise specified, Implantica entities will only use your information in the ways described in this Policy.
  • To comply with law or cooperate with reasonable legal requests: We may disclose your personal information to law enforcement agencies, courts, other government authorities or other third parties where we believe necessary to comply with a legal obligation. We may disclose personal information as we deem reasonably necessary to support lawful investigations or otherwise to protect our rights or the rights of you or any other party.

4. Retention of Personal Information

We will keep your personal information for as long as we have a relationship with you or until we no longer need it to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Once our relationship with you has come to an end or we no longer need the information to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, we will retain your personal information for a period of time that enables us to:

Note, however, that without cookies, you may not be able to use all of the features of our website. We work with third-party advertising and analytics partners, including Google and other digital advertising networks, which may collect information about your online activities over time and across devices and third-party websites in order to provide us with digital advertising services and to deliver interest-based advertising to you. These partners may link your browsing behavior and inferred interests to other information they hold about you, including information from other websites or offline sources. We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information you provide against accidental, unlawful, or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure, or use. 

7. Children’s Privacy

Implantica’s websites are designed for a general audience and are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 through Implantica’s websites. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13 through Implantica’s websites, we will promptly delete the information from our records. If you believe that a child under the age of 13 may have provided us with personal information, contact us as specified in the Contact Us section of this Policy.

8. Do Not Track Signals

The Site does not currently respond to web browser “do not track” signals or other mechanisms that provide a method to opt out of the collection of information across websites or other online services. If we do so in the future, we will describe how we do so in this Policy.

In some places on the Implantica website you may have the chance to send us information about yourself. For example, the Implantica website may include contact or email forms. We only process your Personal Data in order to correspond with you. The legal basis for such processing is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR).

The Personal Data that we collect if you fill out such contact forms may include for example:
